VSHave you all heard of the Kindle? It's been on Amazon now for a pretty long time.
Just recently out now is the eBook reader, the nook.
Ave any of you done any research on either of these?
Do any of you want one of these?
Oh that would be me!!!
Both of the devices are priced the same at $259.00 (ouch). But you can purchase books at a lower price than if you purchased at the store. You can save these books on the device, you can share your books, etc.
You can read more at Barnes and Noble for the nook and on Amazon for the Kindle.
I'd like to hear your thoughts!
Kindle or nook.. Or even more...neither.
I do love to read. I do love new technology. Not sure if I can justify the price for this little piece of new technology, but it would be fun.
Then again, I do enjoy holding the book, turning the pages, etc.
What's your thoughts?
Happy Reading.

I've been debating on getting one myself, but for me it's mostly a money factor. I personally love that the nook is much better looking, and I do like the buttons used for turning pages on the nook. I've tried the kindle from a good friend, its very nice and all but the things that turned me off was the ugly looks and the buttons for turning pages.. it was kind of annoying a solid "Click" everytime. The nook looks to have buttons that sink in so I'm guessing that should be less of a problem.

If I had more money or space to keep books, I'd love to stay with paperbacks. I usually visit the library for my daily fill, but since moving to another location the library here has a poor collection. My parents do have an issue with what I read *sigh* so having a nook / kindle would be helpful as it's cover less.
Thanks for your comment. I agree with the looks and the turning pages issue from the nook to the Kindle. The nook has a touch screen as well I believe.
ReplyDeleteMost features compare to be quite similiar. But for me it's the money issue as well.
Thanks for stopping by.
